    I still find it hilarious that people thought the overall best QB prospect from 1 yr ago would drop to the 3rd-4th round because of an ACL injury.

    NFL draft folk be stupid.

    He's only the highest rated passer in the history of the SEC.

    But RT will tell you he's 7th round/UDFA material and the equivalent of a 3rd stringer... clone of Harrell/Brennan/Moore. He rides McCarron's sack though. Delusional homer, I suppose. I guess that's really just the epitome of a Bama fan.

    Ok... ignore how many of them have never played 3-4.

    He does?... No. He has another 3 games under his belt. Isn't it more realistic that him being in a boot all year sends him back rather than helps him?... Dude wont be worth a sh*t by week 4, even if he does pan out (not likely. He sucks.)

    Eh... I'll give you this one, even though it's a major reach.


    And who is going to execute these plays?.... ((crickets))

    I'm not the one dreaming in homerville.

    This is one of the few areas I can see us being a bit better. But the Browns were 24th (yards allowed). Titans were 19th.

    One other area we improved. On the other side- we just lost our kicker. Unknown there.

    In regards to this thread.. I'd definitely bet the over. Confident 7-9 is our basement.

    I'd be okay taking Murray at 42..

    Not being overly picky, I hope the 42nd pick is one of the following:

    Derek Carr
    Teddy Bridgewater
    Aaron Murray (really like)
    Jimmy Garappolo
    Tre Mason (really like)
    Carlos Hyde
    Bishop Sankey
    Jeremy Hill
    Terrance West

    Disclaimer: not expecting Carr or Bridgewater to be there, but thought I'd list them just in case.

    It's skews your perspective. Homers generally over rate their players and team in general and then are shocked/furious when things inevitably go wrong. Homers piss and moan about a team or player "underachieving" but many times the player/team played up to their ability level they were just overrated from the start. That definitely sounds like us last preseason. I am guilty of it myself, as I predicted an 11-5 season. I'm trying to be a bit more cautious this year.
