This guy is an animal in the running game and has pretty good feet at LT. Played against lesser competition, but NDSU is one of the best non-AQ programs out there having won 43 games and three national titles the last three years. Started 56 games. At 6'6" 315 he has prototypical size, feet and quickness. Bends at the knees rather than the hips, so he doesn't overextend. Good leverage and push in the running game. Plays with an aggressive mean streak. Scott Wright has him ranked as the 120th player in the draft, which would put him right in the middle of the fourth round. NFL Draft Scout has him ranked 79th overall. Gil Brandt says he should go some time in the third. I like him more than a guy like Morgan Moses, who is going to us in the second round in some mocks. His ability to play LT sets him apart from guys like Moses, Juwan James, James Hurst and Cameron Fleming.
I posted about him while watching the FCS playoffs. He is a freak. I'd love to see the Titans take a shot.
Just found this now. I have been curious about him. Could be a good 4th rounder for us! Not like we have not had luck with an FCS OT before.
No problem at all taking him in rd 4. And we should take the left guard in the 5th just to piss off JC. Seriously this kid looks like a nice prospect and could be groomed to take the LT spot in a couple of years. At the very least a good backup at OT.
