Checking the Mock Drafts -- For Titans Predictions

Plenty of talent will fall to around 19 such as WR, Safety, and D-line prospects.

 

I'd be much more comfortable taking a CB at 19 than I would at 11. McShay has Jernigan, Mosley, Lee, Z. Martin, Dennard, Ebron, Roby and Beckham going from 16-23. I'd more comfortable picking all of those guys at 19 than I would at 11, especially if we get a second round pick+ another pick as compensation.

Ra'Shead Hageman, Cooks, Beckham, Z Martin, Dee Ford, Pryor, Dennard and Su'a-Filo are going in the same range in Walter's mock. Not as crazy about that group.

I'd seriously consider Stephon Tuitt, but that's just me.

 

With Munchak, I agree entirely. In fact, he should have never even been considered for the position.

 

No way are we taking Bridgewater at #11. We should trade down and pick up a 3rd round pick IMHO.

 

No way? As in he won't be there or you're dead sure whiz doesn't want a top QB?

 

Why does everyone think it's so easy to just trade down?

 

My favorite player this draft is Aaron Donald, put him and Casey as the DE's and watch out.

My biggest fear is we'll ignore our needs and go BPA at 11 which could be a WR.

 

Donald's size worries me. He is so damn fast and productive though which makes me really like him. He is much more of a penetrating DT just like Casey. Is having two penetrators bad no but IDK how they figure into a 3-4. I think you would need a really stout NT to have them as ends. It's all going to depend on what we ask of our lineman if we consider him. The fact that we looked at Jernigan tells me we are looking more for a run stopping guy who is stout at the point of attack.

Also we should go BPA not reach for a need. We reached last year cause we needed a G. How did that turn out?
