It's not that hard not to be an idiot if that is where the bar is.

It's important to not be an idiot.

And I'd say that Manziel is more than just not an idiot. He's probably smart, judging from the score.

Jim Kelly also scored a 15. And has been said Ryan FitzMAGIC scored a 48. So clearly the wonderlic is a pretty worthless indicator of on-the-field performance/potential. Obviously if all other things are equal you'd prefer to have the guy with the higher score. But I don't think teams really let a wonderlic score alone turn them away from X player.

While I agree.. I've met smart people.. Who comparable I would give up respect to their ability to mentally process stuff. However that never means they are going to move that mental ability to the field. Manzy has shown erratic play and also questionable play process... Does that mean he's dumb? No.

This is a sketchy version of what in trying to say here, but I'm goin to use a madden comparison with reading the field.

Me and my best friend are very competitive at the game.

My ability to grab a random play, read the field and process the Info successfully is minimal. If it has a part of the play that I'm use to, then I'll probably be able to work it.

However, I can devise very confusing and successful schemes that I can play out of and dominate.

I beat him 90% of the time. However if I had to bet on someone to be better at live improv and being able to run anything thrown at him... It's him. If I grab the wrong play book I'm screwed... He can grab any one, random play... And kill it. much better at that portion of the game.

If you take our "smarts" and add it in.. I'm the smarter guy, he isn't stupid, but there are limitations to each person. Those very hard to read intangibles.

This test means very little, everyone has seen the proof. But, I do like how you listed the 5 potential first round qbs and then threw jeff mathews in there so johnny wouldn't be on top
