I really would like Gilbert at 11, would be nice to have a returner contribute at another position instead of just special teams. I also think with how pass happy the league is becoming you can't have enough quality CB's.

First round corners are also something that is very prominent now as well.

I would like to see how the board plays out first but I wouldn't be against him

More then likely drafted before our pick:
    Mack/Clowney
    Watkins/Evans
    Robinson/Matthews

    I could see:
Carr, Bortles, Bridgewater, Manizel being draft in no order ( or just Bortles being draft)

Leaving us some good talent at #11

I appreciate the opinion and response. I still believe that Jake can get it done for us, and want him to play an entire season. If he can't finish this year out, I will step off the support wagon. I know we need to draft a QB, just don't feel that the value is there at 11. Barr or Evans I would be fine with. I do like Hyde in the second- that would make me a happy man!

You can get away with it if you have a quality pass rush. I believe the rush on the QB is the most important thing to shutting down a passing offense. Corners just can't cover receivers but for so long. I healthy pass rush can cover up some talent issues in the secondary.

Your opinion is valid but you'll find that many of us want to move on from Jake because we felt last off season the same way you feel now and he really disappointed us. The only reason the guy is on the team in 2014 is because he's so cheap it would dumb to cut him.

I could get behind any QB we draft at 11. It is one of if not the most difficult position to assess future success and we have to keep trying until we get our guy. I may not believe the guy we take is the best but I'll get behind him if we take one with optimism it works out.

The only QB I'm super against is Mettenberger. He screams John Skelton to me and hopefully Wiz learned that from his tenure in AZ. I'm obviously slightly partial to Johnny Football but we'll see how the draft pans out.

I still think a trade back to get a third. Take Ebron in the 1st. Rb in the second. Defense in the 3rd. Development qb in the 4th.

But yea I really like a pass rush options as well. However, moving from a 4-3 to 3-4 you don't know what you have and thus may not know what you want. Could just be easier to take offense early.
