I dont feel sorry for the you re re. I just laugh at the process like kaeotic mentioned. Ppl like you ***** and moan about a player getting paid to much when its not even your money. Also its a double standard, its ok for owners to try and restructure a contract but if a player does it everyone flips. The team makes way more money then all the players combined

Your bosses make more money than you do.. that's how it works. We're all given different lots in life.

Some people like the Adams' are rich and are born into oil money. Some people are blessed with athletic talent, and are still fortunate enough to be very rich.

    then there's all of us.

That's still value man. If I have 100 dollars and give away 4 cents, I'm worse off than I was before even though 4 cents is hardly anything.

CJ and Wimbley, both whom you're severely depreciating their value almost sarcastically, can still score points and get sacks in this league, so they have value, regardless of what it is, if money isn't a variable (which it isn't if we're not going to spend any) and we release them, we're worse off than we were before. That's basic economics.

We are considering the money that we need to extend people we intend on keeping. I don't believe we can save the same money by cutting them the same year. Most contracts sit on the cap that year somehow regardless. Very dependent on how the contract is set up.

I understand your point... I don't believe for a second wimbley is getting cut. CJ in the other hand we can agree to disagree and just accept that.

The part you never seem to grasp is that when we complain about a player making too much, it's not because we simply think they shouldn't have that much in their bank account. It's about the TEAM'S cap and how their bloated contracts affect it. It makes no difference that it's "not even my money".

If there were no such thing as a salary cap then I wouldn't care whether CJ was making 1 million or 100 million.

What does it matter if the owners are more wealthy than the players? The owners have earned it (or inherited it).

    What, you jelly?
