Again this is so dense and dumb I am not going to try and fight it again. I guess I am just capable of higher reasoning skills and intellect as I see a vast difference between forcing animals to become brutal and fight to the death and that being their entire existence versus hunting where you are using the animals you hunt and they are not brutalized for their entire lives before being killed.


I mostly agree with Scarecrow but here is the thing, sure Vick deserves a second chance, why does that mean it's being a millionaire in the NFL? Who is to say he can't have a second chance as a poor humble man that learns from his mistakes and lives a charitable life (and he will almost assuredly end up poor at some point past his playing career)?

Vick didn't just fight some dogs. He bankrolled a dog fighting circuit that spread through multiple states and all the horror that goes with it (family pets taken and killed, thousands of dogs murdered ruthlessly like hanging from a tree, and all the scumbag people that made lots of money off it, etc etc etc). Check out his history before and after this and it's not exactly great either.


I can tell from this thread and others I know that the people that spend money on the Titans via tickets would've been pissed had we signed Vick, at least a noticeable minority of season ticket holders. You think that would be good for the Titans? A good PR move for the team Nashville and the start of the Whisenhunt era?

If this was ever really entertained then the Titans and fanbase dodged a huge bullet not signing Vick the scumbag.

And that's not even getting to the point that he will be one of if not the worst starting QB in the league this year.

 

I know we joke around with the fake fan thing quite often, but this is one of the legit few things that would cause me to walk away. I know for a fact that I would not be the only one as well.
