I can never hate Vick for the simple fact that almost single handedly won me a fantasy football championship. Bragging rights rule supreme. Besides the fact that he served his time and seems to be reformed.

that useless subhuman vick already has some fans copying his behaviour

 

1) Mike Vick is a terrible fit. I don't want him.

2) I'd be shocked if there hasn't been a Titan that fights or has fought dogs.

3) I'm an animal lover, but not especially a dog lover. I never really got how someone can have so much hate for Vick, then support a guy like David Stewart who likes to go out in the woods and rub one out to murdering animals.

Then you need to read up on what goes into dog fighting. I was unable to explain the differences between hunting and dog fighting to one idiot on this message board, and given that you are a grown adult I won't waste my time again. But if you can see the difference between the two, there is something wrong with you.

 

He's not saying that the two are the same thing, he's saying that he doesn't understand how people can support either activity, as they both result in killing animals (in different ways, clearly). It's a valid viewpoint.

Not one I agree with, but it's overstepping (by a lot) to say that there's something "wrong" with him for holding it.

 

I know the difference and I'm not condoning it. I don't even kill flies. I just don't get how someone can get sooo upset over dogs and not give a crap about any other animals. You hold dogs to a high regard, but I really don't think of them as any different than any other animal.

...and no one seemed to care about all the other NFL players arrested for doing terrible things to dogs. How about Jonathan Babineaux?

 

He had nearly 2 years in prison to think about it.

Whats done is done. he did his crime, he served his time, and came back and is continuing to try to play football.

I agree that what Vick did was horrible. I also believe that people deserve second chances.

I dont want Vick on the team for football reasons

 

I think second chances apply to drug addicts, people who get fired from work for doing something stupid, and just generally not for stealing family pets and essentially have them mauled to death.

I am all for second chances, but I don't think it applies here.
