Man, our line was terrible last season. Especially when playing without Schwenke. You can say that the line played well but CJ made them look worse but how then do you explain the fact that neither Shonn Greene nor Jackie (I consider to both be good players) looked terrible behind that line as well? I respect PFF but I vividly remember how badly our line got man handled in the running game. I remember seeing running back P.O.V camera angles and seeing absolutely no holes being opened up. It was bad. The pass blocking did improve as the season went on and even the run blocking got a tad bit better but 13th in run blocking is a huge stretch for me. I swear there was a board wide concensus during the season that the line play was dreadful. All of a sudden I see people saying it wasn't bad at all. What the hell changed?

Nothing changed, theyve always been suspect run blocking, but not to the degree CJ wishes they were. That fool is flat out blind and gives up too easy.

I meant what occurred to change public opinion on this board so drastically? Like I said even if we (for the sake of argument) agree that CJ is just the worst RB in the NFL, is slow, and has no vision, that still has little bearing on why our other guys struggled just as badly behind that same line? One thing I noticed watching all this Baltimore tape is that Bernard Pierce made that line look much better than Ray Rice. This makes one think that Ray Rice is making the line look worse than it actually is. No such thing happened with us.

Regardless of who was running the ball and who was throwing the ball, the line played just as badly. That points pretty clearly to the line's struggles. I'll say this, if we really were the 13th best line, I feel really bad for the QB of the worst rated team.

David Carr is still in shock therapy for the shellshock of playing behind the expansion Texan's line and getting destroyed every game.

That poor b^stard. He got hit so hard his relatives felt it. I think that's why we're all so apprehensive of Derek Carr...
