I've been saying this for months, posters kept arguing he's too scared of contact/doesn't wrap up to be an ILB. I think ZB will be used how Horton used Daryl Washington. I still want a MLB, we need a thumper for the inside - Woodyard and Brown are not that.

He actually sifts thru the blockers and stays clean a lot when he's blitzing inside, the second half of 2012 he really figured out how to time his blitz.

Just wait until Horton gets his hands on him. I wish we would of got Spikes over Woodyard, would of preferred his run stopping ability and using ZB/Gooden as our primary nickle LBs. Spikes is the perfect 2-down SILB.

I think Woodyard would do just fine, but he's no more than a 2 year fix, IMO.

That's why I think a Shayne Skov, Christian Jones, or Lamin Barrow would be enticing in the 4th round.

I think we should go linebacker first round, cb second round and then rb 4th round.

    inside or outside?

    If outside, I agree.

Hopefully it's Barr in the 1st, CB in the 2nd (unless a DL falls, and don't sleep on QB), and then a RB in the 4th.

No way we go ILB with what we have in the first. Maybe in the 4/5. I like Skov or the guy from UCLA

I think only Barr is the only player we would take at 11. Maybe Gilbert/Denard after some more video by coaches shows they are not sold on Coty/BWW. If Barr is gone I see us trading back to grab Denard, Gilbert, Joiner or HaHa, we have depth needs at both CB and S. I am also starting to warm up to the idea of Mike Evans or an early WR. We have depth issue and Nate is in his last year. (A trio of Wright, Hunter and Evans is great) We can go QB/RB in rounds 4/5 and Kyle Van Noy should be there in round 2.
Besides CB, S, OLB and maybe WR, what else could be do in round 1? Anyone else like the Mike Evans pick?

    1. Barr- OLB
    2. Jordan Matthews- WR
    4. Murray- QB
    5. RB
    6. OT
    7. Vinne Sunseri

    or

    1. Evans
    2. Van Noy
    4. QB/RB
    5. QB/RB
    6. OT
    7. Vinne Sunseri

Right now, if we opt no QB, i want either:

    1st: Anthony Barr, OLB, UCLA
2nd: Kyle Fuller, CB, Va Tech
    4th: Terrance West, RB, Towson

    or

1st: Justin Gilbert, CB, Ok St
2nd: Kyle Van Noy, OLB, BYU
    4th: Terrance West, RB, Towson

& if we opt for QB

    1st: Anthony Barr, OLB, UCLA
    2nd: Jimmy Garopollo, QB, EIU
    4th: CORNER
5th: Isaiah Crowell, RB, Bama St
