I can fall down just as well as CJ if we're really needing a replacement.

He has said he won't take a pay cut. No RB is worth 8million. Certainly not one like CJ who isn't running a 4.24 ever again.

You don't invest high picks in backs anymore because of the way the league is changing. Cut CJ!

-We're almost at 20 pages on the 1,000th thread about CJ this off season, if you're not familiar with the reasons why we should cut CJ then you never will be. You know costing 8 mil a year, being able to free up 6 mil to spend this year by cutting him, him continuing to have a bad attitude on the team, refusing to renegotiate, etc etc etc. Also, incase this has never been mentioned before, paying a RB 8 mil a year in the NFL is pretty stupid now a days. How many games are the Vikings winning by giving AP that ridiculous contract?

-"Still has the ability". He'll be 29 in September, it's all downhill for a guy that relies on his speed more than anything else.

-"There are no better options". There are plenty of better options and for cheaper. Go take a look at free agent RBs and get a little creative with how we could use some of those guys (Sproles) or take a look at the draft class (Hyde). Would you take a CJ with his 10 mil cap hit over Greene/Sproles/Hyde? Or even just the first 2? I wouldn't.

-We have plenty of other holes to fill and CJ's cap hit could be used to help out the team a lot more than if that money was going into CJ's wallet.

Also, Denver and NE were a committee. In the playoffs you go with the hot hand.
