464 yards and 5 touchdowns vs Alabama this season and went into Alabama in 2012 had 345 total yards of offense and 2 passing touchdowns when they won. That is the best evaluation you can get because they are the closest thing to an NFL team that runs an NFL scheme. If that is backwards I don't want to be forward.

Or because he does not have anything remotely close to an NFL skill set.

His skill set most closely resembles the QB who just got a shiny new ring this year.

    1. Despite your massive Manziel crush, like it or not, other areas besides play on the field are taken into account. AJ McCarron hasn't exactly said the smartest things in interviews so far in the draft process so do you think that's just going to be ignored? Everything a player does is under a microscope when it comes to scouting. Some teams won't like what they find and others will be able to get over it. Fans, it makes for good discussion (I guess) but we have no real influence.

    2. If you really want to say Manziel is going to make it in the NFL because of his performance against Bama then sure go ahead but just because they run a pro style defense doesn't mean Manziel is going to manipulate those numbers at the next level. Should we talk about his games against LSU? How about the fact Manziel jumped on Bama in the 1st half two years ago the week after a huge game against LSU but the 2nd half was more under control? Or how this past year went up against a very weak Bama defense?

    3. Most of his numbers and talent overall, comes from being able to keep plays alive when everything else breaks down. That's a great quality but not so much when the QB has to rely on the plays to go that way. I don't remember a single game where Manziel beat a team throwing in the pocket and in the games where he was forced to throw in the pocket they lost.

    4. He doesn't have the size or the arm strength to strive against bigger, faster, smarter, and more complex defenses. He can't just run around in a circle and toss it up in the air expecting a 40 yard gain.

    5. I had a lot of doubt about Cam being good at the next level as well but Cam actually had the tools to make it along with his talent and intangibles. Manziel, I can't see it.

Please show me where Russel Wilson scrambles at the first sign of pressure and then proceeds to throw a random bomb to whichever of his five eligible receivers happens to be closest atm. Wilson and Manzeil may both be smaller guys who can scramble but the way they play the game is night and day.

They are honestly as similar as Ben Rothlessberger and Vince Young.

I see it and you can't. No harm no foul one of us will be right and one wrong. Time will tell.

Haha the typical Johnny Football runs around and throws a bomb every play argument. Brilliant analysis. At least playmaker gave reasoning and can have an educated discussion. Also Russell Wilson's biggest knock is that he feels phantom pressure and will scramble outside the pocket rather than stay in it.

Then allow me to re-phrase then. The Titan's have not be able to develope an elite pass rusher. I believe our best chance is through the draft.

I think that proves my point. Where did we get him from? Was that the draft?
