This has nothing to do with Seastrunk but everyone's disdain for using a second on a RB. If the RB is the top guy you take him. Would I ever take a RB in the first no unless he was the second coming of Adrian Peterson but I don't see an issue with using a second on a RB. I don't think Cincy and GB are upset with their second round backs. Saying we can't pick a RB or any postion until round so and so is just retarded.

Problem is... Andrews isn't a power back, at all.

I find this RB class to have extremely little talent at the top but very deep. It would be unwise of us to spend our second on a RB considering we don't have a 3rd when we can get one later and the drop off in talent won't be too much at all.

Actually, it comes from the fact that we can get away with using a 4th on a RB and get decent production from them. We don't need a world beater, just a 3-4 yard back with some fire. I don't think the position warrants the use of a high second round pick. It's a low shelf life position that normally can be quickly replaced with an average mid round pick. Not saying there arnt some prospects are clearly better (and deserving of a greater pick) just that it's a throw away position.

Thank you for seeing that too, Im blown away by how some people value RB's as if theyre hard to find out there. RB's are a dime a dozen.

I don't care who we pick, so long as he doesn't fall over when someone touches him, we need someone with power, though, a back who will drag someone for an extra couple yards.

I don't care who it is, just as long as they're better than :cj:

I don't disagree that you "can" get production from a mid round pick at RB but disagree with the fact that people are putting restrictions on when to draft certain positions especially when the draft hasn't even unfolded yet. I'm not head over heels for any RB in this class except maybe Hyde so I agree but this draft aside never put restrictions on when you can and can't draft positions except for P/K. That's all I'm getting at.
