I am sure there will be an announcement and a welcome back.

Not sure about a standing ovation or not, but he is a Hall of Famer and spent 30 years with our organization, so he will get a warm welcome.

See Fisher should've been graciously let go after 2005 with McNair (and certainly not being locked out of the facilities). We waited WAY TOO LONG on both of those decisions. If we had done that, Fisher would be revered and there wouldn't be any fan animosity against him. It should've been one of those "change is best for everyone, we appreciate everything Jeff has done, but we want to move in a new direction phase 2 of the Titans, and we know Jeff will have success in this league and wish him all the best" type of deals.

For better or worse, and it's hard to think it would've been worse, the franchise would've been very different had we done that.

I think one of my very first posts here was essentially saying that. I was one of the original anti-Fisher people on this board. But I would have no ill will towards Fisher at all had he been let go after 2005.

It will be big for whisenhunt too. It's his alma mater, and I'm sure he would love to beat them.

Addiction is a disease (don't believe me? Ask a doctor). Really large/obese people have an addiction problem. And addiction can kill. I'm
Not making excuses but when you become addicted, it's very hard to change your lifestyle. An addiction to good can be just as devastating as an addiction to alcohol. I'm not making excuses, just telling it how it is.

I am a large man (6'3" an over 300lbs) so I'll be the last person to ridicule someone about their weight.

Why is this addiction an American problem and not a worldwide problem?

because most non third world countries have legislation in place that limits the advertising and availability of junk/fast food.

    Take tobacco products for example.

You find these on packages in other countries, but not in America because we have been lied to about how capitalism is great for us. Can't dig in to those big business profits!

Wait so now it's all capitalism fault? Let's totally remove personal responsibility and find some big word to blame it all on. Hopefully one day we will have a great dictator society that will tell us how to think and behave like nazi Germany or North Korea.
