Tommy Boy has Spoken (Obesity in America)

I know I'm pretty new here and I love this site, but what is up with all the obese jokes?? As soon as someone mentions Tommy Smith, it's like open season on him. I enjoy this forum quite a bit and think there are so many intelligent fans that post here, but some seem to be in it for the bashing alone. Yes, he's a big boy. I'm sure he knows it. I'm sure everyone here knows it. The jokes have been run into the ground. Let's move on. That said, pretty excited about the future of this team!

 

Its because we literally know nothing about the man, except that he's large and likes eggs. He has to give us more to go off, otherwise all he's known as is the Michelin Man or Fat ******* from Austin Powers.

 

I've got a better idea. How about if you don't like fat jokes, especially if they are directed at you, then don't be fat. Obesity is an indicator of a lack of self control/discipline.



Let's not try to give EVERYBODY in society a pass for the choices they make. Hormonal obesity (pituitary) is less than 1% of all obesity. Obesity is KILLING this country- plus it is an indicator of the general status of our country- self indulgent and irresponsible towards immediate gratification.

And you're simply no fun if you don't think Fat Bastrd isn't funny.

 

Lol I'm not fat by any means, but thanks. I absolutely agree with everything you said. It just stinks when you see joke after joke after joke after joke.....You're right though. I don't have to read them. Also, I do find Fat ******* funny...10 years ago.

If you are extremely obese, it is your fault. I hate sympathy for very fat people, and I'm kinda fat myself.

My wife got through watching the "Ruby" show, the weight loss journey of a 500 lb woman.. Pretty bad that they give these idiots attention.

 

I wrote an essay in high school arguing that, in order to graduate, students without disabilities should be required to complete a mile run/walk in less than 18 minutes. Something most could do without any kind of training or preparation at all. My (fat) English teacher basically all but said I was a Nazi.
