Chance was a GREAT pick.

RT is a need position for us. And LT will be a need position very soon. Maybe as soon as next year. As such it would not be a bad decision to draft an OT high this year. Someone who can start at RT then move to LT in 1-3 years.

At that point I had assumed Star would be taken higher. Ansah and Jordan were both gone as expected, so Star was my #1 choice... Jordan sucks so far, so I'm glad we didn't get him.

As of now, he isnt even close to be deserving of the spot he was picked. Really struggles in pass blocking and needs to improve on run blocking as well.


He may work out in the future but at this moment, he was not a great, or even good pick.

 

I look forward to seeing what the new ol coach can do.

I sure as hell didn't want a guard at 10. Warford was just such a clean guard prospect and it was a near-given that he'd be on the board when we picked at 39...
