So let me make sure I understand the mentality here. Don't draft a guy like Watkins because we have Wright and Hunter. ahhhh first of all Watkins is a guy you pick because he is potentially dominant, better than those guys. A stud. You never go wrong picking pro-bowl caliber studs in the draft. Ever. Now I agree if that potential stud is available at another position we should go that route but if Watkins is on the board how do you pass a guy like that up? Granted, if we get a Julio like trade offer we should consider it. But if you don't do you pass on a Julio like player? Heck no.

I don't think Watkins is as good a prospect as Julio was and that's why i think we can afford to pass on him. I also think that a guy like Evans or Benjamin will suit the receiving we have in place a lot more since they bring something to the table we won't have which is a big bodied wide receiver that will combine with Hunter to make an insane red-zone threat. Unless Hunter comes in next season at like 6'4 220, these guys bring something we lack to the table. Don't get me wrong, Watkins will be a really good player but I just don't think he's the best fit for us.

Have you seen the Seattle WR corps lately?

Benjamin has some quality hand issues. Drops for days. Great talent off the LOS but still some serious questions regarding his hands. Evans can't get open down the field. Relies heavily on playing the ball vertically.

Watkins is a mixture of Percy Harvin and C.Patterson. Slippery and fast.

Still not sold that we need to be taking a WR... Just don't see it. If he's there and we can trade the pick, I would.

Julio has been over rated IMO.

We definitely don't have a need at WR. There is no real good argument for why we should take one either, it's just a really fun scenario to think about for me.

Lol. A bust? Dudes balled out since he was a freshman.... Sincerely doubt he's a bust.

What would even give you the idea he's a busy, I wanna hear this...

Oh yea... I forgot. We compared him to a look alike pacman jones... Because that's how real scouting is accomplished...

"Bro... Blaine Gabbert looks like Todd Marinovich, he's a bust"

While gabbert IS obviously a bust, it has NOTHING to do with his similar looks of another bust.

And... On top of that, pacman is still playing. Playing well even.
