Not every team plays C.J. the same.

And it's weird. Vs Pitt he saw 8-man fronts most of the day, yet he ran really well (despite a terrible average) but still, he got up-field and looked good.

Then comes teams like Kansas City who only play 6 or 7 in the box and C.J. looks awful.

Figuring C.J. out the last few years has been a pain, he is the most inconsistent guy Ive ever seen. Sometimes he looks like a future HoFer, other times he looks like he belong in Canada.

Pitt is used to attacking the gap and getting after the QB. They use a similar strategy for run support. The easiest way of stopping CJ is by containment tho. Just fill the gap and wait for him to try and bounce around. When a guy gets too far up field CJ is good at finding that crease (sometimes, better this year than the previous)

LOL every team plays 8 in the box against us unless they have a substantial lead.

Youre wrong. Against Kansas City the Chiefs had no choice but to play 6 or 7 in the box, we played them to do that. How are teams ALWAYS , putting 8 in the box if we're in 3-WR sets over 25% of the time?

C.J. does some of his best work out of 3-WR sets, we did sometimes get to set the tempo and keep the box fairly empty. Dont you dare try and say he always faces 8-man fronts all the time, he doesn't. I mean he does see them quite a bit, but not 100% of the time.

Stop with your excuses for why he struggled.

It's not an excuse. He can still succeed against 8 man fronts as he has shown in the past. As long as the blocking is adequate.

But for that chiefs game. If we did spread the ball around like you say so much. We weren't very successful in doing so seeing that we only had 247 yards passing. And only 16 total rushes. What RB can produce from only getting 10 carries a game. That's a stupid expectation.

I truly hate when people say a RB has to be given touches to succeed.

No you nimrod, thats not how it works.

Okay your right man. A rb should get a 100 yards off 10 carries every game! Especially with a crappy ass QB and Oline.

    Great job.

Blame the sun while youre at it why dontcha....

If only that damn sun wasn't shinning, CJ would have 100-yards.

Freaking hot dog venders, they yelled too loud when the ball was snapped, CJ would thrive if only those damn hot dog guys would shut up.

I really hope he goes to another team just to show how stupid most of our fans are on here.
