Nates only 30. He's got atleast 2 or 3 good years left. Let's just act like our FO isn't retarded, and decides to bring Damien back for cheap. Then we have Wright, Hunter, Nate, Damien, and Mariani. Is Michael Preston still a Titan too? That makes 6.

Yeah, I think our depth is OK.

This is what happens when you disagree with Rolltide. Despite the facts or sense you use, you're wrong because Rolltide is infallible. If you're right and he knows you're right he'll distort your argument and make up things that you never said.

    Get used to it.

You and I have both said we wouldn't throw a fit if we drafted Watkins at 11, BUT WE'RE STILL WRONG.

It's like all these people look at the Broncos and the Packers and see all these good WR's, and say. OH! I WANT THAT! But they don't realize that the reason those WR's are so good is because of the QB throwing them the ball, and the O-line protecting that QB. Put Damien Williams, Justin Hunter, Kendall Wright and Nate Washington on the Broncos or the Packers, and they will look just as good if not better than that teams current WR's. I promise you.

You see what happened with the Packers the past couple seasons right? Greg Jennings leaves, James Jones and Randall Cobb are now stars. Randall Cobb gets hurt, Jarrett Boykin is now a stud. Good WR's are a dime a dozen. Good O-lineman and QB's are not.

I think the only way I would be upset if Watkins was drafted, is if Mack or Barr are still there. I just can't think of a scenario where one of those two are on the board, along with Watkins.

if we take any wr at 11 ruston is callin himself a failure at drafting, he got two high pick wr already. No team needs more than two high drafted wr on the team. Almost every position on the field is a bigger need than wr. Qb is by far our wordt position, we can't afford to take anything but qb in the first round

the talent drop off between the top 6-7 players, to 11 is substantial. If Watkins falls and no one else does, you would be stupid to reach for someone.

So we draft another high wr that is gonna demand big money when his contract is up? I like watkins, no doubt he's gonna be good, but we already have two good young wr. We don't need him at all and with our qb situation it would be a complete waste to get this guy. If hes on the board and all of the guys we want are gone, we should be able to make a julio trade to a teeam like carolina.

It is never a waste to draft a real stud. But I do like the idea of working a trade if we get real good value and translate that into multiple picks that can help us.

In almost every case except this one I would agree with you. But if we draft a wr this high and he's a stud, then we will be forced to get ride of either wright or hunter once their rookie contracts are up. If we were to pay those two then we'd have to get rid of the new guy. With caps you can't have more than two well paid wrs, a lot of teams have none that are competitive. If we can't move the pick or get a guy we like besides watkins, then yes I take him.
