Zumwalt is better and will be available later in the draft. Our new LB coach also coached UCLA defense last season so he should be aware of him.

Everyone does it. Its important to me to see how compettive he is. If he cares about separating himself from the pack he will lower that 40. All MLB run 4.7s but he could get to 4.5 with some work and be special

That guy lays the wood. Made some big hits when I saw him last year.

Borland looks a lot like Stephen Tulloch to me. Less than ideal height but stout with good instincts who can find the ball.

His speed as listed by rivals coming out of high school was 4.65 and nfl draft scout projects to run that fast. That is not slow for a 245 lb ilb. Certainly he will run much better in his workouts than Brandon spikes who ran a 5.00 40 on his Florida pro day. But Spikes was not white so it was ok. :disappointed:

Borland would be a nice 2nd rd pick as would be Shane Skov who was a crazy good college player.

Zach Brown and Zavier Gooden are much more athletic than Yawin smallwood. We don't have to draft them they are already on the team.

I watched Chris Borland and Shane Skove game tapes (3-5 games each) and to my untrained eye Skove is better in damn near every way. Borland is definitely a good player, very smart, good tackler but he just doesn't seem like a play maker. Skove is most definitely a play maker and I'm pretty sold on him. That being said I would be ok with a Borland pick sometimes you just need a guy who will do his job without any flash.

Tulloch was that guy and his size limited what he could do. The way the league is heading you need your LBs to cover guys now.
