If we draft a 3-4 end with our first pick, I'd prefer Tuitt personally. That being said, I'm not sure any of the 3-4 ends mentioned are worth the 11th overall pick. I'm telling you guys it is imperative we move this pick and gain additional picks. We need ammo badly in this draft, since I feel we will lose Vern and Stewart.

If we landed Hageman, we could have what the Jets have w/ Wilkerson & Richardson. Personally, I'd rather have an unblockable OLB... but if Mack/Barr are gone then Hageman is my #3. Sheldon Richardson was my #2 want last year, behind Star - too bad.

Most mocks that i've seen project Ra'Shede as a late teen/early 20 pick. I do think he'll start to rise after the combine, just like Sheldon Richardson did last year. At #11 I don't think we'll be able to trade back for him.

If we went on a crazy defense build:

    1st: Ra'Shede Hageman
    2nd: Dee Ford

Package w/ Terrence Cody & Donald Butler in free agency

    Ford -----------Butler -----------Brown ----------Ayers

The one thing that worries me about Hageman is that he really didn't put up great overall tackle numbers. He had 35 and 38 total tackles his last 2 yrs. So why if he is so dominating did he really not post great numbers? Was it scheme that kept him from getting after people or was it an on and off motor?

Compare that to Richardson from last yr who had over 70 tackles....here is my Richardson love thread from last year...http://gotitans.com/threads/sheldon-richardson-is-our-guy-or-a-guy-a-team-will-trade-up-for.86010/

What's the deal with Terrence Cody. It looks like he barely played last year when you look at his stats.

Frankly that's all he really needs to do. Anything else is just a bonus.

Zero chance Dee Ford is there in the 2nd. Actually I think he could easily sneak into the top half of the first round. Actually I was looking at a couple mock scenarios and I had him going to us at 11 on one of them. But, hell, if he's there in the 2nd he'd be a huge steal and an absolute no-brainer.
