Chris Johnson set for surgery

This hidden injury crap is getting old. Preds did it last year with Rinne, and now Titans do it with CJ.

All it does is hurt the team. If he tore it early on, he could have recovered in a month, and been ready to go. I'm sure it was CJ, trainers, and coaching staff's decision. That's not totally on CJ's shoulders.

Ridiculous. All this equates to, is more excuses from all sides.

 

Exactly my point, this injury news is NOTHING!

 

Honestly, just like Fry said, this type of thing is no big deal at all. When I read the news I was smirking like "this MFer" LOL

Some fans see this an an excuse, and it is, but its not like he was playing with a torn Achilles or something significant. Thats why he never once mentioned it during the year.

 

It amazes me all of the CJ fans on site, that don't show educated responses that benefit this team. I have asked multiple times, Give me 8 million worth of production and leadership???...and not a damn person can back that..They give me defensive responses or "Who is better on this team" type answers. It's called constructive criticism, and we wouldn't be the first team to let go of a "Star" to benefit the team. I just don't see star leadership and numbers....I am getting really tired of having to post statistics and reasoning to not keep him around. It's almost like keeping CJ is the only Identity some people see for this team...

He didn't even miss practice or go on the injury report.

 

I want to hear these CJ supporters reactions when they get a rookie or a replacement back in here that puts up better numbers...What will the excuse for CJ be then....The line got better? They didn't give him the right playcalling? etc...I can hear it now haha

 

Yeah cause Greene was so much more effective. When people get hit in the backfield as much he does, there is not much more you can do. But I still challenge you with giving me a link/source with his YAC for this season. He fought for extra yards this season and did not go down as easily.

 

No I don't believe that at all. What I do believe that cutting him in order to spend more money elsewhere on average to below average talent is ridiculous. The thing this team is missing more than anything is a franchise QB. No team succeeds on a consistent basis without a franchise QB. The only way for us to get a franchise QB is going to be the draft.
