This guy is a beast and after impressive senior bowl workouts he is moving up the charts. 6'6 318 lbs he has the look of a Richard Seymour, Kevin Williams, Muhammed Wilkerson type who is ideally suited as a 3-4 end but also can excel in a 4 man front which we would be using 50% of the time.

Despite that size he is projected to run a sub 5.00 40 so he has ideal size with under tackle type speed and quickness.

While we seem to have plenty of D-linemen well suited to the 3-4 end position this is the type of player worth considering and we may have our pick of these types of guys at 11.

Tuit of Notre Dame is another big tall guy with good quickness worth considering there. Jernigan at 6'2 298 is prbably better suited to a 4-3.o

Go back a decade or so and look at who the best pass rushing interior linemen have been and most of them are tall 6'5, 6'6 type guys. Watt, Williams, Seymour, Henderson, Stroud. Hageman and Tuit fit that mold.

    Hageman-Minnesota 6'6 318
    6 sacks
    1 hurry
    13 TFL
    8 PD 1 FF
    2 blocked kicks

    Tuit-Notre Dame 6'6 311 lbs
    7.5 sacks
    13 hurries
    9 TFL
    2 PD
    1 FF

Both projected to run a sub 5.00 40.

Both worthy of draft consideration at 11.

I'm always fine with the taller guys. That's something we have been missing on IMO.

If we have our choice between Nix and Hageman, which we should - i'm 110% on the Hageman train.

The more I watch Jernigan the more I want him. I was warm on him throughout the season because I thought he was a Casey clone and we didn't need that, but with the scheme change I'm more open to taking him.

Call it a homer pick, you're probably right, but he looks like the best run-stuffing DT in the draft to me.

I saw zero Notre Dame games, and Tuiit was a junior, so no senior bowl to go from. Ill watch some tape of him and see what I think. usually RollTide is good evaluating D-Linemen, so Ill make a point to see this kid play later.

I would be all for Hageman, I've only seen highlights on the guy but he looks like a beast. Looks really quick and athletic in that big frame

Hageman is my favourite at this stage. He will destroy the combine and move right up draft boards. we will be lucky if he is there at 11. We made a mistake last year not taking Lotulelei.
Hageman will be suited to our 3-4 look. Wouldn't mind grabbing Raji in fa.

Casey-Raji-Hageman is filthy...with pit, morgan and Hill subbing in.
    Ayers-Brown-Fokou-Attaochu/Van Noy(2nd)...Gooden, Mccarthy, Wimbley.
    Keep secondary in tact.

Some good film to judge him on he played michigan, Wisconsin, Nebraska and texas Tech.

A 4-3 DT who won't get angle blocked as much or double teamed as much as a 3-4 end.

Watch the play where he lines up at left DE and destroys the OT.

Uses his hands well and has a good motor. Plays a bit too high at times but would benefit from good coaching. Really lowers the boom on people when he hits them.

At least as good a prospect as Micheal Brockers 2 years ago.
