Come to think of it. There have been some Grey Cups played in some really nasty cold and snow. And it was still fine.

And yes, I know I am going to get :boo:

A little snow, wind and cold hurts no one. That blizzard in the Lions vs. Eagles game just made the first half a waste of time, IMO. But there could be a heavy rain if the game was played outdoors in the south which screws up performance as much if not more.

Because of the pre-game and half-time stuff, it probably needs to alway be played in a dome if they can keep the lights on.

    I totally agree....players won't complain IMO.

I have been rooting for bad weather here. The decision to play this in New York was clearly a sellout to big $$ interests. Remember when Nashville was told that we could not host a Super Bowl because the weather could get bad LOL? I guess the weather in Nashville is worse than New Jersey in February....NOT.

To me it would be hilarious if the NFL even mentions the option of moving the game (beyond the catch all option mentioned in the article posted earlier). That would become a huge news story and controversy. That said, I really doubt that it would happen.

Bottom line, you reap what you sow IMO.

Regarding Manning, I agree that the excuses would fly if they lose in bad weather, but I doubt any of that would come from the Broncos themselves.
