False. No person currently on the team has ever said he quit or has no heart. They know best. Also, look at him in other spots in the game, he is playing hard. He goes down easy when he knows he cant get any more yards, its why he always stay healthy.

Not that this thread matters anymore. The new coach has all the say and we wont have a clue what he will want to do. Smith likes him too.

Anyways I am tired of arguing this point. He is the most polarizing figure on this team and everyone's opinion wont change on him. Nothing you say will change me and the pro cj guys into cutting him and nothing I say will change your and anti cj guys into cutting him. Nothing will get done until a new coach is here. Lets go argue about that. Zimmer!!! Then we can come back to CJ and how he fits the new OC or HC system.

Okay, jury is still out for me but I'm gonna offer some items:

    - In light of very recent events re: OL coaching, can we reasonable say that CJ's production is all on him?

    - Given that in later seasons Eddie George stopped running in zero gain handoffs because his job was to stay healthy while controlling the clock, how is CJ any less effective?

    - Can we reasonably expect CJ to bust loose for gains if the game plan is to pound the middle and run off the clock? Fish did it and to a certain extent so has Munch. If this is the case is CJ really the problem?

I would be all for keeping CJ if he'd take a pay cut so we could sign more FA's but I don't think he will.

My plan, is to cut CJ and draft De'Anthony Thomas. To me he looks like CJ in his prime. Perfect changeup to Greene.

Listen, to anyone who watches every second of every play the Titans run, can you honestly say you dont see a different CJ from game to game?

There are moments where things go wrong and its CJ vs the world, and he hits big runs like a champ. And then theres a lot of him where he sees no lane and just sits down and loses yards. But every now and again instead of folding like a chair on contact, he decides to lower his shoulder or put on a move to elude the defender.

I simply want to know how some fans can accept a player that gives less than 100% every play.....

Who the hell turns effort on and off in the way you claim CJ does? Like I've heard of guys who don't try at all for months or maybe years but you seem to claim that CJ tries on some plays but not other plays in the same game? I just don't get that. Do you honestly believe that he just isn't trying on negative plays, but giving it his all on positive plays? Because I've never heard of anyone doing that in football.

I have, which is why I can't imagine what you'r proposing. Maybe you've been around a lot of lazy, low character guys but that has not been my experience. I think it's lazy to say he tries on positive plays but doesn't try on negative plays. I've seen CJ try to fight off multiple guys and still get brought down for a loss. Just because the end result is bad or looks bad that doesn't mean there was no effort put forth.
