If you don't want your QB to take a shot at the Go, why call it? You don't use your best WR to run a route you don't want your struggling QB to pass to.

Now I'm not saying I favor Franklin as our coach, cause I don't,

But seems to me that CJ and Britt and Brown among others could have used some motivation last season.

#Titans and #Vikings are pushing to interview Mike Zimmer quickly. Who knows if this’ll be the year. But interest is very real.

    There goes another,one
NFL Network's Jeff Darlington expects Bengals OC Jay Gruden to be the next Redskins head coach.
Darlington doesn't cite sources, but he's pretty well plugged-in around the league and likely isn't simply guessing. The most notable Washington-Gruden tie is Jay's history with Redskins GM Bruce Allen in Tampa Bay, where Gruden was an assistant coach on his big brother Jon's staff, and Allen ran football operations. Due to his last name, Jay would also fit the bill for owner Dan Snyder, who prefers flashy hires. The Bengals could promote RBs coach Hue Jackson to offensive coordinator, and very arguably upgrade on Gruden.

We can just use one draft class if you'd like.

    1. So 14 wrongs, a couple of injuries and one guy who hasn't gotten a shot(Mallet)

Not nearly 85%, but whatever you say.

I have a feeling Webster wants Mike Mularkey as OC.

Because you want to draw coverage deep instead of having them squat on the underneath routes? I can't speak to Gruden's motives, but that's what I would have done.

Maybe. I'm sure we could dig around and find Gruden's or Dalton's comments. But if Gruden didn't want Dalton to take a shot, he had the opportunity to tell him to not look at Green when he called in the play.

I just don't think you use Green as a decoy in that situation.
