If we get a new coach, chances are, we will draft another QB as well. But probably not first round.

That said, here are the guys that come to mind. (No particular order)

    Brett Smith, Wyoming
    David Fales, San Jose St
    Zach Mettenburger, LSU
    Aaron Murray, Georgia
    Braxton Miller, OSU
    Tajh Boyd, Clemson
    Connor Shaw, South Carolina.

As I said in an earlier thread, got to go with Brett Smith from Wyoming.

    + Quick Release
    + Solid open field speed
    + Manziel-like elusiveness
    + Decent Size (6'3 205)
+ Very accurate when he sets his feet and steps into the throw.
    + Pretty deep ball
+ Probably the most drops I have ever seen in the time spent watching his games (skewed stats). He doesn't miss many throws at all

    -Sometimes tries to force passes
    - Have not seen him slide once
-Accuracy inconsistant when on the run
-On plays when he is given time, sometimes still doesn't set feet.
    - I've seen a kind of wanky sidearm thing when he doesn't set his feet. Think Stafford.
    - Had a couple of really flat games this year
    - About 15-20% of all passing plays were screens or bubble screens (scewed stats)

This is still way early, and we will see how things go after the combine.

Smith is projected 2nd or 3rd, but we could get him in the 4th possibly. After him, I guess I would take Murray, then Miller.

Not the one we draft, we like to keep average talent around for atleast 5 years.

Could probably be had in the 7th.

Not that is matters with the news today.

Love this kid story, never was given a chance and has all the talent in the world. Someone we could get undrafted or very late in the draft. High character guy who will be playing with a chip on his shoulder, he's just as good as any of the late round guys we could get.
