Its been well established that TST doesn't actually care about anything other than highlights.

The team with the #1 pick seems to say this every year. Good luck is all I have to say.

I really don't see anyone wanting to trade up to 1st overall for any of these QBs. Now Clowney on the other hand, maybe. If a team was really in love with him I could see it.

Really? Worth what they gave us for a potential franchise QB, the book is still open on RG3 (due to his injury). I believe he'll be back, but there's still alot of questions regarding him.

Look at what they gave up:

Rams traded that pick to the Redskins for the #6 and 39th pick in 2012, and first rounders in 2013 and 2014. The 2013 first round selection was the 22nd overall, and 2nd overall in 2014.

The Rams traded the #6 pick to the Dallas Cowboys for the #14 and #45 picks. That #45 pick was sent to the Bears for the #50 and #150 picks.

The Rams turned the #2 pick into DT Michael Brockers, CB Janoris Jenkins, RB Isaiah Pead, and G Rokevious Watkins as their compensation in the 2012 draft.

Last year, the Rams spun the #22 pick from Washington (along with a 2015 seventh rounder from New England) to the Atlanta Falcons for the #30, #92, and #198 picks. OLB Alec Ogletree was taken at #30 and WR Stedman Bailey (#92) were taken with two of those picks. The #198 was packaged with the Rams own sixth rounder for the Texans fifth round pick which was used to take RB Zac Stacy.

So, going into the 2014 draft, the Rams have obtained the following for the pick used to select RG3:
    • Michael Brockers – starting DT – Future Pro-Bowler
    • Isaiah Pead – Bust
    • Janoris Jenkins – Starting CB - Ton of potential
    • Rok Watkins – No longer on team
    • Alec Ogletree – Led Rams with 95 tackles as a rookie in 2013
    • Stedman Bailey – Had two starts at end of rookie season; averaged three catches last five games of rookie season. Potential to be starter next year.
    • Zac Stacy – Started last 12 games and totaled 973 yards rushing; four 100 yard rushing games. Future starting RB.
... and they also have the #2 pick in this year. Which, they may also trade #2 for a team looking to trade up for Clowney or one of the other QBs (to jump JAX).

I'll take the Rams side of the trade any day of the week.

Too early to say whether or not he was worth what the Skins gave up for him. His rookie year it sure looked like it. This season, not so much. And I think you're being pretty generous if you considered his 2013 season "good".

I bet if the Skins could get a do-over they wouldn't make that trade again and would just grab Cousins in the 4th.

If the Texans aren't sold on any of the QBs they should just take Clowney and take one of the second round QBs to groom for a year or so.

Clowney & Watt together just isn't fair.

Interesting. What do you see in his game that makes you think bust?

Probably not. For one we all know they are not taking a QB. And there is nothing else really worth that much to trade up for. Better to keep those picks.
