4 QBs in the top ten? I bet it's more like 2.

Though it really depends on the teams drafting and how ridiculous they end up getting. See: Jags - Blaine Gabbert/Titans - Jake locker scenarios.

If munch somehow surprisingly loses his job this week (shoulda already been done today.....sigh) then we are in the QB hunt I think.

I'd like to swing on a QB that slips to the second round. I like that area of possibly landing Boyd or Fales.

Frankly the first round I'd rather someone slip and we trade the pick and pick up some extras this year- next.

Clowney would change this defense. Barr would become a playmaker and Mack could be an impressive hybrid type guy for us. In reality we don't have the possibility of landing 2/3 of them. The bama ILB would be a good guy to grab... Something this defense needs is a leader in the middle. Mosley is all over the place.

Buuuuut yea... Let's go OT.... So the worst OLine coach in the league can ruin him as well.

Long time to go until the draft, teams will fall in love with a QB other than Bridgewater.

Carr and Manziel are probably the guys, Hundley if he declares.

I'm betting on 4. Six teams need a QB in the Top-10 (Hou, Jax, Cle, Oak, TB, & Min) & I don't see any QB being a major hit in FA (Cutler resigns in CHI). That means these teams will be looking hard at QB. Considering Cle, Oak, TB, & Min all have new coaches, they're looking for a QB to take over their era.

I'm betting Bridgewater, Manziel, Carr, & Bortles all go in the Top-10. Alot can change between now and April though.

I can hope some foolish team drafts Manziel in the top ten, I believe the media hype will be a non factor for him in the draft and he falls and goes much lower than expected.

    Bortles still has declared.

Honestly our focus should be on trading out of round one altogether for multiple picks. At the very least we should try to trade down and pick up an additional 3rd. I just don't see a lot of top end talent in this draft and this team has too many holes to fill with only six picks in the draft; barring any compensatory picks of course.

I know the phone rings for virtually every team in the first round with trade offers, so we will get calls. I'm not saying the value is always there but there will surely be an opportunity to trade down or out of the 11th pick and we need to take it.

We need impact players though, I dont want a bunch of Justin Hunters who take 3-4 months to make a difference.

Are the Titans close enough that a few impact players could put us into the playoffs or are do we have enough work to do that we'd be better off looking for long term return in this draft? For right now, I second HeadOnASwivel. We've got work to do.
