according to Adam Schefter coach Munch is staying at least for another year he said he's not 100 percent sure but he feels that he will get the opportunity to coach the Titans next year on Mike and Mike this morning

I think Tommie Smith is leaning toward bring Munch back for one more year. Unlike some of you most likely, I'm not super pissed about it. I did think Munch should be fired, but I can understand why Smith would give him one more chance. It seems most everyone in the organization from the players to the front office seem to feel they can win with Munch. I hope they hire Gregg Williams as defensive coordinator and replace Loggains as well though. I get the feeling most people in the organization want certain changes to help the team win, but not Munch's head on a stick. Let's be honest, if everyone in the organization supports him staying, there must be a reason. Perhaps things will work out great next year. Who knows. This team will have my support no matter what, but if the team keeps Munch and struggles again next season, the fans (including me) are going to be out of this world pissed off!!

Certainly Smith is entertaining the thought of bringing Munch back. Otherwise, he would already have been fired. I reckon Smith wants to hear what Munchak thinks needs to be done to improve the team going into next season. I doubt he fires him unless he really doesn't like what he hears from Munch.

I can't. That's why i said he should be fired. However, if the people in the organization want to keep him and believe in him, that would hardly be something Tommie Smith can ignore when making a decision on Munch's job status.

Not surprising if true.. Used to the good ol' boy mentality and sticking with a losing formula. That's a few of the constants on the franchise. Why change a formula when it works 30 percent of the time?

Get rid of Loggains, get a QB who can stay healthy for the entire season, make strategic hires and fires of players and we can go to the playoffs with Munchak. I honestly think we would have this season but our 'QB made of glass' bailed on us again. The QB is our biggest liability, IMO.

That's the problem with keeping Munch. The whole league knows if he doesn't make the playoffs he's gone. Who's going to uproot their entire family to come here for what could be 11 months? It's the Fisher situation all over again.

Bruce Matthews stays. Loggains stays. All of the crap stays or they get replaced by more crap because quality coaches will have better options.

In all honesty, i do think the biggest issues preventing the team from winning this year were bad offensive scheming, bad run blocking, and the injuries to the starting QB. While Munch is responsible for hiring the offensive coaches who were terrible, it doesn't mean they can't turn it around with the right offensive coaches working underneath Munch. Again, I was ready for a new head coach, but with the right changes, I think we can win with munch. It's just that we haven't been!
