Romo has a better chance of leading a team to a Superbowl than Cutler, but Romo isn't available and won't be so the point is completely irrelevant.

Cutler isn't good. He's average, we may as well stick with Locker.

How many teams cut a 4th rd pick in their first year? The Raiders did in Tyler Wilson. And that was a team that did not have a single proven QB on the roster with any experience.

It was not just a numbers game there was something there they did not like or think could fix with coaching.

The Titans obviously disagree and signed wilson as a project guy not as a viable 1st or 2nd string QB.

I think it was stupid that they tried to 'hide' Wilson on their practice squad...

What kind of QB are the raiders looking for? Maybe they should just let McFadden take all the snaps

Picking up a Vet QB is nothing more than a band-aid very rarely do you see a Manning or Brees. So why over pay for a Vet when we have guys that need locked up like Verner and Casey

I'll much rather take the lumps and continue to look for our franchise Quarterback Next Year
    Bryce Petty
    Brett Hundley
    Jameis Winston
    to name a few

One thing about a vet QB is that we know what we are paying for. No one knows what any of these guys are going to do in the NFL. We already have a really good college QB that is untested in the NFL. I think we stick with what we got on QB one more year and address other issues on the team. Coaching first and foremost.

So the plan is just to continue to sign everyone outcast? That's worked out just as good Collins, Hasselbeck, and Fitz. Why sign a high profile QB like Cutler when we have so many young talents on defense that need locked up.

Locker gets 1 more year if he can't stay healthy then he's done, you can't keep giving him chances.

Next year if Locker doesn't pan out you go get a guy in the draft, I think its bs with the argument you don't know what you got when you draft. Scouts, GMs and coaches are paid to do their damn job and it's about time they do it. You can break down a Qb play in the redzone, 3rd down situations, how he reacts after a bad play or int. You can see all their intangibles on and off the field.

We knew exactly what we were getting with Locker when we drafted him, and so far he proved to be everything everyone thought. High character kid with tons of passion, who is injury prone and accuracy concerns.

He was injury prone in college?
