Willie Meggs isn't known for leniency on FSU football players. He's charged two with sexual assault that I know of. One of which was kicked off the team in August because of it and the other was acquitted in 2003.

If he felt like he had a case he would have charged Winston.

I'm not saying Winston did or didn't do anything wrong, but your statement about Meggs being gutless is erroneous.

The man has a pick 6 and a blocked fg this season. We've kept a lot worse Dbs than Pollard. Lamont Thompson started for us for years at safety.

 

I think he just likes the attention, to be honest. He seems like he enjoys the role of the dimwhitted country lawyer who outfoxes people, like the judge in My Cousin Vinny.
