Titans add Tyler Wilson

Tyler is also good about NOT staring his damn receiver down the whole way too! You would think that wouldnt be as big of a problem as it is.. but it is. Tyler is pretty good about freezing d backs and allowing his guys to get open

 

I would love to see him get some quality coaching and correct all the bad habits that college QBs can get away with. Especially the bad habits you learn when its a jailbreak up front every other play.. jeez

 

Thanks for that clip TJ. I heard a lot of comments knocking his arm strength but it seems to me like 90% of the problem is his bad footwork and inability to set his feet both which are extremely coachable. Dilfer singled out a horribly underthrown ball against what looked to be Kentucky and said Wilson is incapable of making that throw but then I see Wilson throw a gorgeous ball on an identical looking play against Tennessee. I hope we have someone who can develop QBs cause all Wilson needs is solid coaching.

 

So should Tyler start the last game of the year? Probably too much to ask him to start this week. But next week what the hell. Would love to see him play.

 

Tyler's college stats. Considering how bad O line play was in 2012, the coaching turnover, all the star receivers gone save Cobi Hamilton and the 10th toughest schedule in Div 1 college football [Phil Steele]. He managed to do alright. 2011 is the year to look at though if you want to give him a fair shake.

Nah.. we should let him get in the door and spend the rest of the season and offseason with our coaches then evaluate him in fall camp with everyone else.

 

I am starting to have some doubts. Tyler spent a season with this guy which had to have increased Tyler's suck level.



I mean how could it not? Worried he is damaged goods now.

 

John L is a special teams guy .. and trust me when I say, NOBODY was listening to this guy for the 10 months he was here.. hence the "quitters" comment made by Wilson. We still had Paul Petrino basically running the offensive show.. nothing really changed apart from the level of motivation from everyone. Players didnt care because coaches didnt care.. they all had one foot out the door.

 

Well, then, we better have a good QB coach then. Do we have one?
