I will appreciate CJ if he takes a massive paycut. Dude held out after his 2K season demanding more pay due to production. Now we need to pay him according to his production again, i.e. not more than 3 million per season instead of 8.

I would drop him to 5 or 6 mil a year. No less and that leaves is with good cap space

7.5/10 would smash and enter a relationship. but I'm married, so nevermind.

You know who I would not enter a relationship with?

    CHRIS JOHNSON.

    Thanks CJ, for 2008/2009.

    Since then, screw you.

Thanks for the holdout. You really did us a solid there.

Good luck at your next stop. I'm sure you'll be totally underwhelming there, too.

I appreciate him putting another titan name in the record book, but overall have we really got a lot to appreciate him for?

People on here defend CJ because the arguments used to attack him are always the same and mostly retarded.

"He makes too much money/Held out!": Yeah just like most other big time players do when their team won't pay them or they have clearly outperformed their rookie contract. Players make as much as they can when they can because the won't be able to later. Neither the teams nor fans give a sh*t about players when they're no longer productive. They don't have to consider your sensitive little feelings when negotiating .This was damn near 4 years ago and hasn't affected our ability to bring in talent which is evidenced by the 100M we spent in FA this season.Get over it and let it go already.

He doesn't try hard! - The eye test is not always an accurate way of assessing effort level. The fastest sprinters of all time look effortless in there running, does that mean they're not trying? Peple seem to base effort on whether you're playing well or not. If you're playing well you're definitely trying, if you're not playing well you're not trying. When you weigh 200 lbs guys who outweigh you by 60-100lbs will make it look really easy to get you down. Particularly when they get you in the backfield before you can even accelerate.

"He dances too much!"- He's trying to avoid the guys hitting him in the backfield/make something happen.

When he doesn't juke it's "He's not trying to make things happen"

"He's lost a step!" CJ then proceeds to torch an entire NFL defense. "It was in garbage time or a broken play who cares LOL CJ1yd"

"He has a low ypc!" Yeah so does every other back who has tried to run behind this O-line.

Put any RB except AP behind our OL this year and I bet they have a down year too. The arguments are old an tired. CJ gets blasted when he plays badly and no credit when he plays well. If I was him, I'd want out of here.
