    Really? I mean really.....?

Did you ignore what the new guy said? Tommy Smith said the following:
That right there is all we could expect him to say, and he gave us what we wanted.

There IS a standard just so you know, Bud Adams told Munchak before the first game "If we don’t make the playoffs, then we’re sitting.”

Tommy Smith will uphold and honor his father-in-laws words.

I dont see what your point is.

What will be, will be. Mr. Smith's comments indicate that he has definite opinions on what is wrong and what is right-if anything is right-with this team. He will do what HE thinks should be done. But one thing he knows and articulated-if the fans aren't happy with the product, then things have to change because the fans bring in the money. He is a smart man in that respect. I'm sure he has noticed all the empty seats at the games.

I watch the good teams' Olines open up wide holes for their runners. I watch CJ get hammered on just about every run because our Oline is slow and weak. Big holes in the line = big gains by CJ. And that has not happened since his first season. So I agree with Mr. Smith that he is not being used the right way. If our line is too slow and too weak to open holes, then find another way and teach it. But then, that's the rub, isn't it? teaching

Tommy likes Chris I highly doubt Chris is going anywhere unless another team offers us a pretty good trade for him.

I really think some of you have no idea what football truly is all you Chris Johnson haters amuse the hell out of me. At times maybe Chris can run harder but if you truly watch Tennessee Titans football games 70% of the time Chris is getting hit in the backfield.

Why are people so eager to get rid of our best player that makes no sense you want to win football games you want to be relevant in NFL you don't get rid of your superstar

Because our superstar isnt giving us a good return on investment, regardless of reasoning.

Thats why CJ has lost so many fans.

    Well that.. and he talks.

I think it's hilariously ironic that you say some of us have no idea about football then go on to say CJ is "our best player" and call him a "superstar".

And the line, as well as CJ, is not living up to their money.

Some have just let go. If CJ starts tearing it up again, everyone will like him again. Until then, the criticism and dislike are warranted. And I completely do not put all of the running games production on CJ.

Exactly. No one is acting as if it's all CJ or the OL doesn't suck major balls. But it also doesn't have to be a "one or the other" scenario. There's plenty enough blame to go around.

CJ hasn't been a "superstar" in at least a good two years. And it's not all because of the OL.

Maybe superstar is a little too much but you have to be naïve if you don't think he's our best player and if you're watching the games over half of his carries the man's getting hit in the backfield before he has a chance to get to the line of scrimmage.

Our run blocking has been atrocious the past two or three years and I watch every single Titans game all four quarters he's ran a lot harder this year then he has in years past I don't care what anyone says.

The man is what 5 foot 11 205 pounds running the dive or a 26 quickie or something stupid up the middle 70% of the time makes no sense to me someone like CJ should get the ball in open field or sweeps or tosses or counters misdirection we hardly do anything to HELP him out... But fans will suck on locker till the very end.

    Clueless
