murray with an acl, but still i'd take him in the second. he'd be a steal if he fell to the 4th.

I like Derrick Carr but until he plays a top 30 defense in whatever at large bowl that Fresno gets to he is a second round pick in my book. I have seen a lot of site projecting Fresno St. in with Oklahoma St. which is a great test for Carr.

Bryce Petty is a guy not getting a lot of talk on various draft sites that I think will defiantly be a 1st rounder if he declares. Petty is putting up insane numbers at Baylor and unlike his predecessor RG3 he is not a runner.

Right now I think the list goes:
    Bridgewater
    Petty
    Mariota**
    Carr
    Manziel**
    Hundley**
    Boyd
    Mettenberger
    Murray

Murray hasnt been prone to injury. Freak ordeal with him, it happens. Just hope for his sake, it doesnt spiral downward after this injury. I am not one screaming to cut Locker, as we get him cheap this next season and he has the potential imo. I do think Murray would benefit from a team like us taking him,as the pressure would be off of him to rush back. He would be a 3. Now I wouldnt take Murray in the first round with that injury, but from the second round on, i would definitely look at him because he has played the best competition, he can make the throws and inst PRONE to injury. Just terrible timing for the kid.

    My favorite quarterback prospects are:

1st Round - Blake Bortles QB, UCF
2nd Round - Tajh Boyd QB, Clemson/AJ McCarron QB, Alabama
3rd Round - Jimmy Garappolo QB, Eastern Illinois
7th Round - James Franklin QB, Missouri/Kenny Guiton QB, Ohio State

Whatever happens I think we should certainly acquire a quality QB through the draft in April and worry about what we still lack from there on in FA. Time for us to stop flipping over stones in the league trying to patch something together. MAN, we need a franchise QB in the worst way

I know, and it's a complete gamble this year as to who will succeed and who won't in the NFL. There are so many guys with potential.. going to be tough to make the right choice. I'm not a fan of the Cutler idea, honestly. As far as QBs in the draft, this is my rankings:

    1a) Teddy Bridgewater QB, Louisville
    1b) Blake Bortles QB, UCF
    3) Derek Carr QB, Fresno State
    4) Tajh Boyd QB, Clemson
    5) Brett Hundley QB, UCLA
    6) Johnny Manziel QB, Texas A&M
    7) AJ McCarron QB, Alabama
    8) David Fales QB, San Jose State
    9) Jimmy Garappolo QB, Eastern Illinois
    10) Zach Mettenberer QB, LSU

    - I'm a lot higher on Boyd than most, but something tells me he is going to be a good QB in this league. Honestly, the perfect situation for him would be the Saints taking him and him sitting and learning behind Brees for a few years. Feels like he fits that offense if he can improve his accuracy.
    - Mettenberger is lower on the list to me not just because of injury, but because I don't feel like he has that "it" factor and can lead comeback victories. I'm just not a fan of his.

So I got the chance to watch a couple UCF games this year to check out this Bortles guy since some posters are pretty high on him and I understand why but I still have some concerns. He has the size, appears to have some nice zip on the ball, throws surprisingly well on the run, and I think what I like most about him is he doesn't panic in the pocket like a lot of other guys and still keeps his eyes down field. However, UCF's offense doesn't make him throw the ball deep. It's a lot of dump offs, screens, slants, curls, etc. Maybe someone else who has seen him can answer this for me but can he actually throw the deep ball consistently?

If the Titans are really trying for the power run game then we have a few different routes we can go at QB. Considering we have two really good and really young WRs in Wright and Hunter I hope we can get a guy that can throw the deep ball to Hunter but also make the precision throws to Wright to get him in space.

If Brett Hundley comes out then he's the guy I want. I've been really impressed with what I've seen and he's a big enough threat to hurt you with his arm and his legs. What separates him from a lot of the scramblers in the draft class is he's actually accurate with the deep throws, when most just have the arm to get it there. He still has some work to do and there's a chance he stays in school but I think his potential is higher than Bridgewater.

I know I'll get some crap for this one but I'm starting to become a believer in AJ McCarron. Last year, certainly not but this year he has impressed me. He has a nice build, smart, has played well in some of the biggest games, very accurate, and has a pretty good arm. He can do everything that the Titans will ask him to do in a power running scheme with some talented WRs. The biggest knock on him has been playing with so much talent around him but this year he still produced even with a OL that's not has heralded as years before. He needs to work on his deep ball accuracy but from what I've seen he has the arm. I put him ahead of any of the other SEC QBs.
