Let's be real here. Bradley has kept this team together with his positive attitude. He is a Pete Carroll product. I don't think the Jags have better talent that ANY team in the AFCS. They clearly aren't world beaters. But they are playing well as a team. And that is on the coach.

I think the Jags are a decent example of how important a HC's personality can affect a team's attitude and approach. Now, I wouldn't be honest if I didn't think the Texans' players have "checked out" mentally and their desire to win games is MUCH lower than at the beginning of the season.

I suspect we lose to the Jags and win a close suck-fest with the Texans (if our win doesn't put their draft pick behind ours) to go 1-5 in the division. I'd say the Texans beat us also if that scenario does not put their draft pick behind ours. That is how confident I am that teams' don't place winning individual games as the highest priority for the benefit of the franchise. And no, I'm not saying they will "throw" the game. I'm saying that they will be field testing players for next year regardless of the risk it puts their team at for losing that game.

This Titans teams is more talented than the Jaguars. I wouldn't say we're immensely talented, but we have more talent, I don't doubt that. The Jags don't have a defensive lineman like Jurrell Casey. They don't have a corner like Verner or even McCourty. The offensive lines, from a production standpoint, are essentially the same, but Levitre, Roos and Warmack have more talent.

    So what's our problem?

Anyone want to come to the Jags forum and troll them about losing out on Teddy?

RamsFan2Win is absolutely right. The Jags know they aren't going to out-talent or out-speed anyone, so they have to manufacture points. Two weeks in a row a skill position player has thrown a touchdown pass in Ace Sanders and MJD. Good job by their OC.

They're starting two rookies and a second-year player in their defensive backfield right now. They've gotten much better throughout the season. Improvement. Fancy that. Something we haven't seen in the two+ years of the Munch era.

Thats a myth. They really arent that talented. They will screw it up. Doesnt matter what pick they have. Texans are where they belong. They will rise up every once in a while and win a few. But they are bottom feeders.

It is pretty funny how they went from super bowl contenders to getting the 1st overall pick.

Just when you think things cant get worse, theres always the Houston Texans. God has a weird sense of humor.
