As others have said, hard to say until we know where we draft at this point. If (and it's a big IF) we somehow win these last 5 games (or go 4-1) and sneak into the POs, I fear Munch and Co are back and I bet they don't draft a QB until the later rounds, if at all... I want to love Locker and believe that the kid can be the guy, but in the 2 years he has been "the guy" he just can't stay on the field, and hasn't shown me enough consistency to warrant him automatically getting the nod next year regardless of who is coaching. If the right fit is there (a pure pocket passer that looks to pass first and run second, and is a smart guy who can read defenses) then I say grab one as high as the 2nd (although do we even have a second rounder this year).

This is a tough one for me. I have been a Locker guy, but I admit his inability to stay healthy makes me uneasy about the prospect of not drafting one in the first 3 rounds. (no 3rd) . Aaron Murray goes down for the first time in his career, with an ACL of all things. Now, very tough break for that kid, but could that be a perfect storm for us? Locker is cheap, we keep Fitzy, and Murray probably falls to round two or 3. Could we snag him, allow him a season to heal behind Locker and Fitz? Could be a win win for both sides. We get to see Lockers last stand and if he doesnt earn an extension, your next QB is waiting and gets a full recovery time. If Locker proves himself, then that is a good can of worms to deal with in 2015.

Ideally I'd want to draft a QB in the first or second round, cut Fitz and Rusty, and roll with Locker as the starter with a young and talented back up/new franchise QB when/if Locker can't stay healthy again. There is a deep QB pool this year and I believe we can get a quality player.

I went with taking a QB in the 2nd but if we lose out the rest of the way and end up with a top 5- top 10 pick then I want it used on a QB if we honestly believe he's the answer. Top picks don't guarantee success but they do increase the odds of the guy you want being there for the taking.

Texans and Jags could both be drafting QBs before us. Do the Texans now own that number 1 pick?

Locker is not an accurate enough passer to take this team to the next level. I am not happy with how he has played when the pressure is on. His completion percentage is higher than it should be due in large part to the amount of dump passes, screens, and short yardage passes we design in our plan just to get him completions. I honestly believe this is done to sell the fans on Locker. I believe Munch knows Locker is not acceptable to us (THE FANS) and for this reason the short passes are a large part of our offense to make him look better than he actually is. I want us to get back to a passing QB who can bail us out late if need be. Not a guy who will pass if he can but is looking to run. I want a QB who is always looking down field for receivers, but is fast enough to get away IF HE HAS TO!!!! I really like Derek Carr from Fresno State. I think he will be around late 1st early 2nd. Then we MUST address RB. If we address QB & RB in draft or free agency we will make playoffs. IF we actually have a coach. a REAL COACH!!!

I believe that it goes to the Falcons based on conference record at the moment.

I'd love to see a stud tackle in the first, and murray in the second.

this! murray hurt his acl though so we might get him later than that. depends on our slot in the 2nd. i would LOVE drafting murray as he'll be ready to play after sitting behind jake a season. draft a RT, murray, and try to get back into the 3rd for a pass rush DE.
