No kidding. As much as we're hearing about concussive injuries, I don't think the league can let an intentional helmet-to-head contact go unpunished.

I realize the refs probably didn't see the headbutt. But I don't know why they couldn't have watched the same replay the crowd saw and ejected him based on that.

I am very impressed with the poise Walker showed there. A lot of people would not be able to keep their composure and would have taken a swing at Walden.

very true, I would have taken a swing at him not caring in the world if I got ejected at that point. I know it seems selfish but sometimes you gotta protect yourself

Yes especially since they used replay earlier to call the "to many men on the field" penalty.

That's a great point. Last night I said to my buddy on that too many men penalty, :I didn't know they could review for a penalty". He didn't either, is that new? And a helmet to helmet headbut is an ejection is it not? HTF is a helmet to head headbut NOT an ejection AFTER the Colt ripped his helmet off is head. ****ing ridiculous, but wait..... COLTS. Oh ok, I get it now.....

I hate it, the commissioners are ruining the sports I've played and loved my whole life. The NHL has become a complete joke, as the NFL. The worst part, who are the poster boy/teams in each league you ask? Luck and the Colts, and Crosby and the Pens. Who are my favourite teams> Titans and the Flyers. **** me I have to deal with this **** in both of these ****ing mickey mouse leagues.

Sorry for the rant, it's just so furious to see both sports ruined, and always have to be rivals with the teams who have the refs on their sides.

I definitely understand your frustration. I was furious when he did not get ejected, that was one of the worst missed calls in awhile. If you flag the guy how can you not see what happens next. I think the nfl needs to evaluate referees and they need their own press conference after games. They need to be held accountable too just like everyone else!

So you think that Walden wasn't ejected because....he plays for the Colts? And I'm not really sure what Andrew Luck has to do with anything here.

I just think they missed what happened. And I can't say I'm familiar with the rules on reviewing such an incident to determine whether or not to eject a player. But I think they should've been able to review it, should've reviewed it, and should've ejected Walden for what he did.

Yeah, we all found that one a little odd.

Andrew Luck had nothing to do with that situation. It's more how the NFL is trying to push him down peoples throats as a face of the league, much like Crosby in the NHL. I thought the comparison was pretty obvious in my post.

At least he can play. Unlike Tim Tebow whom they also tried to push.
