Ryan Fitzpatrick has been as good as Locker this season

Locker will be a backup as well come this time next year. So we have two backup qb's on the team now. We need a FRANCHISE qb tho

 

I dont know that thats true. Tommie Smith isnt firing Mike Munchak.

 

Then this team will continue to go in circles until those two changes are made. QB and Coach, both go hand in hand and have done nothing for us in the past 3 years, no playoffs, nothing!

 

We didn't throw the ball beyond five yards but twice yesterday. That's how limited he is as a passer.

At least he avoided a turnover. Although he clearly fumbled before anyone touched him when he dove on the ground. Good thing Chuck Strong waited until we snapped the ball to try to challenge.

 

I would love to see the playbooks open up for Locker the way they did for Fitz. I have a sneaking feeling that this organization will give up on Locker, and he will end up becoming the star I think he will be somewhere else. That being said, you cant pick up the 2015 option with his injury background. So you almost have to go QB in the first couple of rounds of the draft. I personally would love for Locker to win the starting job next season and stay healthy. But say he does and we are playoff team andwe have drafted a QB high in the draft. Then what?

 

They didn't "open" the playbook, they trimmed it down for Fitz.

The difference was Loggains was calling a waaaay better game. How many empty back sets did we run on 3rd & short? A whole lot more than ever before.

 

Being as good as Locker means you're barely better than I am.

 

More of the reason why we must get a new QB via draft.

 

You can't play QB, maybe kicker, maybe.

 

Different play book. Different sets. Different formations.

With locker we used the heavy set, trips left and right, I formation and single back. Shotgun was used when we were forced to.

If you go watch how the bills ran their offense last season, and put on last nights tape... We just installed that. It's what Fitz called for. I don't think Loggains did much here to reinvented the wheel... Fitz just asked and said... Lemme play my way. Call these types of plays for me.
