Sure it's a possibility... If we want to play the 2 QB system continually and have to ride whatever craptastical backup we have because we wasted more time on Mr Injury. But sure. There's always a possibility for the team to do some stupid **** like that.

I'm living in reality. Along with 99% of the rest this forum. Draft a new QB and start him day one. Locker can ride the bench.... And if for some magical reason the rookie goes down, then spot duty king Locker can come in and ball out.

We will all relish in the moment while he takes off running and then has to pull up because he tore his ACL on a non contact play... About oooohhh let's say 6 plays into his "reemergence"

Then we will put DWill in to really chomp on a dick.

But yea... Let's go with Locker next year. No need to draft a QB. We have the man of steel.

Only problem with the Stafford comparison. Stafford is more talented than Locker and like ensconatus said he was owed a ton more and never had injury concerns

 

The only way I see Locker here, is if we use the option to keep him another year and release Fitz, which would save a ton of money.

We are likely getting a new coach, OC at the least, I have my doubts Locker can beat anyone we spend a high pick on.
