I can live with that one. He's busting it to make a play.

The late hits on QBs sliding is driving me crazy. He was lucky not to get one last week against the Rams too. It isn't rocket science. It's clear you can't do that anymore. It's costing the team. Leaders don't make selfish plays like that on a weekly basis.

He was the only one out there makin plays.

The first PF call was legit. The second one was BS.

I watched literally every snap of the game and can't remember a single positive play Pollard made. McCarthy forced a fumble and got a pick. Casey played out of his mind. Those were really the only guys on defense that stood out positively.

Brown did ok along with Verner, but their production has fallen off.

Outside of the penalties I haven't seen a lot of negative plays from Pollard. There have been a few times where he was beaten in man but we knew that was a weakness already, if anything, I thought it would be a lot worse by how some were describing his coverage skills.

The defense has definitely changed for the worst over the past few weeks, anything to do with Pollard? Idk but he did seem like one of the few guys playing with energy early in the game.

I still think he is a guy you want around, especially for a young defense.

The defense is different because they are dropping everyone into coverage. For some reason Williams isn't calling for blitz packages anymore! I know you can't blitz every down, but damn they are only relying on the defensive line to get the pass rush. We are still getting beat in the middle of the field ( just like last year). What happened to Williams being aggressive? Did I miss something? Was it not working ok before?
I like Pollard because he knocks the spit out of your mouth ( legally and mostly illegally). Yea sometimes penalties are called, but c'mon! If not for Pollard, who really lays the smack down on this team in the secondary? We need his kind of toughness on the team ( like or not)!

I've actually been impressed with his coverage more than once... A lot of SSs (and FSs for that matter) actually drop easy INTs all the time, so its good he made some plays when he got the chance. Also, he's gotten some nice pass break ups as well. When he came over, I actually envisioned someone worse. He's also made some really nice plays when they move him to the line.

His two fouls were huge though and a leader can't do that stuff. He needs to clean it up, they were a big part of the loss if you ask me.

Troy Polamalu gets called an amazing player for these same plays. I don't remember seeing a personal foul called when he jumped over the entire OLine and almost ripped Jake's head off week 1. BS

Morgan also had a great game. Hill and Martin played well. Our entire D-line basically played well.

Not sure where Zach Brown has been the last few weeks.
