FIRE MUNCHAK (ongoing)

Munchak isn't the one who fumbled the first play of the game. He isn't the one who goofed on a simple hand off exchange. He is the one who looked like he has his purse stolen from him and watched the mugger run away with it.

Yes, some coaching calls were crap. But this game falls on the players and their crappy execution.

 

With the right staff the HC position is more an administrative, management and media relations position. I have a feeling Munchak is very good at administrative tasks and seems to do fine handling internal "issues" (eg the Kenny Britt situation) as well as the media. As long as deciding to kick or receiver, challenge and the occasional 4th down call is all the football decisions he has to do on gameday I have no problem with him.

 

My question to you is, at what point does a season's worth of mistakes and/or general ineptitude begin to reflect on the coaching staff?

 

This team was not prepared for a winless team. In spite of CJ screwing the pooch with 2 lost fumbles, and Pollard screwing the pooch with 2 dumb penalties we could have/should have still won this game.

 

I like Webster and think he is the right guy for his job, I hope he sticks around.

 

I think Shaw would be a fantastic hire...

How can you prepare if your players suck or are not living up to their potential.

Quickly, tell me who is worth a damn on our offense.

 

So it's not the head coach's responsibility to make players better? We're three seasons in, have we gotten better? Is CJ making the same mistakes he was making 3 seasons ago? Is Locker better at staying healthy than he was 3 seasons ago? Is our offensive line better than it was 3 seasons ago? Is our WR crew better than they were 3 seasons ago?

 

How is anyone even arguing with you?

This is a talented NFL roster. Far beyond the damn Jaguars.

Pull your head out of your ass.

This staff is gone. HC is incredibly important in this league. Munch ain't got it.
