Which Coaches Will Be Fired

I should have added Philbin to mine with the reason being that he did not handle this incognito issue well at all. He made himself look bad with all the press conferences and the different ways they were going about it. He should not have had a scripted press conference and just winged it imo.

 

hmm only one vote for Munchak so far

 

his fate lies within the next 8 weeks my friend. Playoffs = job and no playoffs = unemployment

 

I wonder if the new ownership will can Munch if he doesn't reach the post season.

 

Yeah that was the consensus going into the season, I almost put Munchak myself since we're right on the outside but then factored in the Locker injury.

 

Also interesting, I doubt they would be as loyal to past Oilers/Titans.

So we could see a totally new staff if Munch is canned.

 

the locker injury might save his arse at the end of the season if we do not make it but I have seen him coach the last three years and I have not been impressed. This year he has done a much better job but is it from him or greg williams? I think Greg Williams would make an excellent head coach and I hope we keep him on this team for a long time to come. As for Munch I just don't know!

Actually I tend to like to give first time coaches four seasons to prove themselves. Plus, he's still under contract for next season.

So as long as we finish 8-8 or better, I say keep him and tell him it's playoffs or bust... unless there are better options out there. I know Lovie Smith will be coming back... even Gruden might.
