Very doubtful that we could get this guy in the draft he could be a top 10 pick. Perhaps a top 5 pick. The top rated OLB in the 2014 draft.

My thinking here if we could get him would be to draft him to play Ayers' sam linebacker spot and then make Ayers an edge pass rusher taking over Wimbley's role since we all know Wimbley will be gone after this season.

That upgrades us at the SAM position since Ayers is very average. Ayers focusing more on the pass rush can be effective there but is a nice all purpose guy to have for multiple roles.

The issue with Barr is if he is a top pass rushing prospect for the 3-4 teams. For us he is a quality SAM linebacker with size and speed. He fills the hole and runs sideline to sideline. His best position with his speed might be MLB.

Basically Ayers with elite speed. Barr also can contribute to our pass rush.

I'd be pretty pissed if we take a outside linebacker in rounds 1-4, we have too much invested there right now.

I've been down for moving Ayers to D-end for a while now...he sucks at linebacker(well besides for pass rushing), so I'm down for doing something like this. I just want another Keith Bullock...is that too much to ask for???

Who thinks we still need to upgrade the SS position? Don't get me wrong...I LOVE Pollard, but I also realize his skill set is extremely limited. Now, what we could do is fire Jerry Gray and replace him with Pollard.

4real though...I think we need to be scouting offensive tackles for this years draft. Roos is still ok(emphasis on ok) for a couple years, but Stewart is done(has been since last year). This is probably our greatest need.

I wish. Barr is projected Top-5 in most mocks, but we've seen players fall...

The only reason I am hesitant about Barr (if he were available) would be experience. He was a fullback and this is his second year playing olb. Talented without question, but every time I think about a talented college player that switched positions and lacked experience I think of Andre Woolfork.

I have been watching another young promising olb and my honest opinion is I think he fits our mold a little bit better. His name is Khalil Mack (Buffalo/olb) projected 1st round pick. In the clip below watch him set the edge and also his athleticism is evident on the interception return.

I was talkin' up Barr last year. He has kinda been down a bit this year. I could see him dropping.

Mack's game against Ohio State was stupendous.

Tiny Richardson would look good in Titans blue alongside Chance.

Mack is the 2nd ranked OLB according to nfl draft scout.
