People act like he has been garbage all season up until yesterday, but he really only had 3 bad rushing games, one of which included a long TD reception.

I wish his YPC was up and we could run more consistently as a team, but he has been nowhere near as bad as people here suggest. ...and Schwenke and Green will only help.

He was much more elusive in '09 and often broke tackles. He certainly made people miss. He's not close to the same RB he was that season.

That doesn't mean he can't be effective—he clearly can. But he has to be more productive in situations where he isn't going to get massive holes which are the majority of games.

If you're waiting for CJ to truck LB's at the line of scrimmage, you're gonna be disappointed in him forever. That's not CJ. It wasn't CJ in 2009 and it wasn't what they payed him top dollar to do. If the Titans had done a better job keeping the schemes/blocking the same for CJ over the last few years, he would be considered lock to be a future HOF RB by now, and we wouldn't have Titans fans saying their best player sucks.

He is already on his way to be a HOF mainly b/c of his explosiveness.

He will finish with at least a 4.3 or higher. Write it down.

Not to mention his epic durability. The man's never missed a full game due to injury. So many overlook that. Imo, he needs another huge season or a couple very good seasons (more TD's and say 1400 yards or so) before I would consider him a lock to the HOF. He has an argument if he keeps getting 1100-1200 yards for a few years too, but i wouldn't say he's a lock in that scenerio.

He isn't a lock right now but he is on the right path.

No one says CJ should truck anyone. That's quite different than breaking weak arm tackles. That has nothing to do with the blocking scheme. Him not making players miss isn't on the blocking scheme.

I'm not saying he sucks. But I also know better than to think he's anything more than a mid-tier RB in the league and all you guys thumping your chest talking like CJ is something more really need to watch some All-22. It's pretty obvious.

    Lock for HoF? Dear Lawd.
