See guys. It is not that we wanted him to be bad. We were hoping for him to be good. We expected it. And he let us down. Which is why were are so disappointed in him.

I get where you're coming from. And I would LOVE for KB to dominate. But I haven't seen ANY signs that's going to happen.

Maybe he's not as immature as he was a few years ago, but is that really saying much? I still think he's pretty damn immature. He pretty much admitted that his penalty at the end of the Niners game was due in large part to frustration over his limited snaps in the game. Is that mature? Is that professional? Of course it isn't. And it's yet another example of KB putting himself above the team.

So he hasn't been a major locker room distraction. Yay? He gets points for that? We spent a first round pick on this guy and he had all the talent in the world. But he spent the first 4 years of his career being a complete idiot off the field. Then now he's finally, seemingly gotten past all that stuff he's been completely worthless on the field. Then has the nerve to publicly complain that the Titans aren't busting down his door with a new contract in hand.

IMO he deserves the hate. Sorry.

Still time for him to turn it around. I still say he ends up with 7 tds.

I'm not opposed to his having his snaps reduced because he hasn't produced. And when he was given a few, he didn't do much with them. But let's also be real that he has had some bad PI calls on him and some "no-calls" when he got mauled trying to make some catches.

I agree he isn't going to be on this team next year. What is the harm in letting him have snaps earlier in a game when he can contribute, particularly if he's getting the #2 CB or nickel? The sentiment on this thread is to keep him off the field, etc. and "build for the future". Well why the F not just cut him right now and get Preston back? Some folks would cut off their nose to spite their face.

I don't think that would be much of a loss.

You still think Kenny is going to be good. I do not. Maybe he can be better somewhere else.

It looks like no other team in the NFL will give up a 7th rounder for him right now.

I'm not sure he's going to be good. I am sure that cutting him or not activating him further rather giving him a few snaps to get through his slump is not a productive solution. Reports say Munch and Co haven't given up on him. That may be BS. If it isn't, expect to see Britt getting some action after the trade deadline.

I'd be totally fine with him getting more snaps, IF he earns them. But doing dumb crap like he did toward the end of 49'ers game isn't helping his cause. I feel the same way about Britt as I do/did Reynaud. At a certain point, you've simply run out of chances.

Britt could certainly climb his way back from this. But I question whether he's got the will and maturity to do so.
