Fisher did not quit. He was fired. Gotta read between the lines on that one. He wouldn't have just quit to take a year off and join another team. Mutual agreement = fired.

What's hilarious is everyone I've talked to about the Titans in Knoxville says they hate the team because of how we treated Fisher. These people are highly unintelligent NFL fans if they think we were wrong to fire the guy. We treated him better than any team would have. He would've been gone before the Super Bowl on most teams.

There were so many times he could and should have been fired that it's truly a miracle he lasted until the end of 2010. Let's see... After the 2005 season would've been a good time. Immediately after the Ravens playoff game would've been a good time. It was inexcusable to lose that game. The fumbles may have been out of his control, but he did not have the team ready to play, the gameplan was garbage as it always had been in the playoffs, and his decision making throughout the game sucked. But I can understand keeping him beyond that game after such a great overall season. But how did he survive after going 0-6 and losing 59-0? How is that possible? Then he should have been fired immediately after losing to the Redskins in 2010. Thank God we didn't sneak into the playoffs that year because he would still be here coaching.

We gave the guy every chance possible. He could've been our coach until the day he died, and I can guarantee you we would never have won a Super Bowl. This league is about winning, and he went 7 seasons in a row without winning a playoff game.

So for anyone to say that we "did him wrong" or that we're a bad organization for letting him go... Well, you're an idiot if you think that, and you obviously know nothing about this team.

I still had a Facebook when he was fired, and I definitely remember some statuses saying "I'm no longer a Titans fan." Good... GTFO. I don't want a fan who's more concerned with one average coach than the progress of the team. That's the same garbage that a lot of Colts fans said when they got rid of Peyton.

This is why I sometimes hate the south. Too ****ing soft. Dude was here for 17 seasons and had not won a playoff game since 2004. Same thing is happening with the Preds and Trotz. It's time to move on. Change can be good, and after a certain point it's necessary. Look how much the Eagles firing Andy Reid helped him out.

It's Boclair....he's a hack and a terrible journalist. He's on my short list of media media members who deserve a shot to the nuts....at the top of that list is Chad Withrow.

Boclair was right. The Titans should have been the ones in the forefront talking about Bud, not a former Titans coach

Cause we all know when Bud died, it was a race to be the first to offer condolences.

Essentially they're just creating revenue for themselves (or trying to) by creating controversy over someone's death. These people are the real scumbags - all those jackwagons on 104.5 and Boclair

Yeah but you said on another thread that you would prefer Greg Williams to Munch and his record as a head coach is 17-31.
