I don't get The Zone sometimes. Mark Howard is defending Boclair because Munch didn't get anything out before Fisher on Bud's passing.

He totally ignores that the Titans did send out a statement via Twitter just after the death was confirmed. Munch is supposed to send out his own statement in addition to the one sent out by the Titans?

The Twitter is probably run by the Titans Marketing department and operated by someone who's never even talked to Munch.

He probably should have made a statement earlier, this is getting blown out of proportion nonetheless. If someone wants to rag on Munch, there is plenty of material to go at based on his lack of coaching ability, I don't see the point in questioning his relationship with Bud or his character.

6/17 and January 2004 is better than 0/3 and Never.

Yes. It's the Public Relations department who is responsible for doing such things. But some obviously felt Munch should have sent out something (though it would have been written and gone out through the PR dept too).

Its totally appropriate that Jeff Fisher got called by TN media, but I dont get why its becoming a big deal.

Guess we needed something to talk about during the bye.

They probably think that munch should have been giving a live play-by-play on the situation too.

People just need to talk about and make a story of something. This is pretty silly.

Well, Mark calls Boclair "Bokey" so he's probably just blindly defending his boy.

But I'm like you, I don't get this fascination for who got what out "first" or who told the coolest stories. How is that in any way reflective of how someone feels about a person who died? Or more so how is that a reflection on how good of a coach Munchak is? Like I said, that was the dumbest "article" I've read from from a Titan beat writer in quite some time, maybe ever.

And that morning show on the Zone, IDK. I like all of those guys. But they are some hardcore apologists for anyone they happen to like.

Never heard of Boclair before this, now I know why. I don't read sensationalist nonsense like this, especially about my team.

Munchak in no way deserves to be ripped like that on such a matter. After all he was doing what coaches are supposed to do on Monday morning, and that is preparing for the next game. It was a great day with Reynaud getting cut and all then he got this dropped on him. Nobody has a right to say he should have handled such an unexpected event any differently.

    Munchak is 0/2 so far.

Last I checked Fisher missed the playoffs his first four seasons. What do you have to say about that?
