How exactly is he holding back our team? He is averaging more yards per catch than supposedly our best WR Wright?

You don't think Green runs with power???

I wouldn't just judge Green by 1 carry after missing 5 weeks after a knee scope. He is going to make a difference in the attitude of our offense.

This young OL is going to gel and we are going to put up some fantastic running numbers the 2nd half of the season.

Yeah we are going to put up fantastic running numbers because we wont be playing top 8 defenses in the league three weeks in a row like we just did.

Lol... Simple minded post. He's also got two larges runs after the catch. Be realistic dude. You're not helping your case.

Because, you're right, the D's play better gap containment and discipline, so those cutback lanes aren't available anymore. When CJ has an inside lane, he is still as capable as he has ever been of taking it 80 yds to the house. The problem over the last couple of years has been the O-line hasn't given him those up the gut lanes as often.

So here's the question: what's more important, the rb or the O line?

Which indicates we should be more creative in finding ways to get him in space because he is so dangerous when we do. Having him run straight and turn around to serve as a security blanket for Jake is absolutely retarded. Ok he is also second in td's if that means anything.

He use to be a RB. Not a 10 million dollar screen back/check down

True, the game isn't dominated by smashmouth RB's anymore. My point isn't that we need a dominating RB, but that with the absence of dominating TE, QB, and/or WR's that are winning championships now, cutting CJ to sign good, but not great players on D doesn't make sense. CJ is the only real threat a team has to gameplan for on O. When Pito, Verner, or Pollard start putting up consistent, "Playmaker" numbers, then that could be a smart move, but, with the exception of Verner with a couple of Pic 6's (one in a game the Titans still lost by the way), I don't see how that would improve this team's chances of winning a SB.

Look how the saints use sproles or how the lions use bush. He would put up much better numbers than they do if he was on their team. The fact that he can take it to the house at any moment means he should be used anyway that allows him to have that chance. Idc if that means just as a screen back but if he can continue to do what he is doing when given the chance then he is definitely worth the money.
